BFNT Aiken plant donates to charities

Bridgestone/Firestone North America LLC's Aiken, S.C., plant has given more than $40,000 in grant money to child care and education groups in the area.

Organizations receiving grants include the Family Y of Aiken, Brothers and Sisters of Aiken County, Helping Hands Inc. and other groups.

"This is a great opportunity for our company to support the children in our area," says Aiken Plant Manager Mike Rose.
