The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) has elected Mark Polke to its board of governors. Polke is director of service workshop concepts and technical support services for the aftermarket division of Robert Bosch LLC.
ASE says Polke brings over 30 years of aftermarket experience to the its board, including 20 years at Bridgestone/Firestone in sales, operations and marketing roles. Polke also spent several years as an owner/operator and in other capacities in independent repair shops.
“It is an honor to be a member of the board of governors of an organization that I have been part of for so many years,” says Polke. “Like ASE, Bosch is committed to providing high-quality training that equips technicians with the knowledge and skills to keep them current on the constantly changing technologies in today’s vehicles. I look forward to working with the board to help shape the future of ASE ”
