American Tire Distributors Inc. (ATD) and Tire Pros dealers are raising money for the Gary Sinise Foundation, a nonprofit that serves military members, veterans, first responders, their families and those in need.
This will be the third year for the Summer for Heroes Giving Campaign, and ATD and Tire Pros hope to raise more than the $1.5 million that was collected a year ago.
ATD kicked off the campaign with a 5K for Heroes fundraiser in May for associates and their families all across the country. On Sept. 10 ATD and the foundation will host a First Responder's Day fundraiser in Charlotte, N.C. The campaign will conclude with a donation presentation at the Third Annual Gala for Heroes on Oct. 8 and the Golf for Heroes on Oct. 9.

We are privileged to contribute to the work they are doing and share their passion for making a difference in the lives of those who have sacrificed so much."
The donations raised during the campaign will support wounded heroes, first responders and families of fallen heroes by helping fund four Gary Sinise Foundation programs that focus on mental wellness, outreach to first responders, connecting families and making home and vehicle modifications for those in need.
Since 2019, ATD has raised $2.75 million for the Gary Sinise Foundation.
