Turbo Ignites New Program, Unveils New Tire

March 8, 2024

Turbo Tires Wholesale LLC held a signing event for its new Lexani Ignite dealer program at its recent Tire Wholesalers Dealer Conference.

The Irwindale, Calif.-based company also introduced a new Lexani brand passenger car tire, the Quattro Tempo, during the event, which took place in Mt. Pleasant, Mich., and was attended by more than 300 dealers from across the Midwest.

Turbo acquired TWI, which is based in Michigan, last June.

Formally launched at the start of 2024, Lexani Ignite “offers retailers earning and training opportunities when they purchase Turbo brands and is supported by Turbo and participating regional wholesalers across the country,” according to Turbo officials.

The new Quattro Tempo line “will include a broad market all-season tire, a high-mileage touring tire and an all-weather entrant. These tires are expected to be on retailer shelves” during the second quarter of 2024.

Phillip Kane, Turbo’s CEO, kicked off the single-day conference “by reinforcing Turbo’s commitment both to the independent tire dealer and to operating the company as a family business, which they believe is a key part of what they call their differentiating strategy,” according to Turbo officials.

The meeting also featured former Chicago Bears linebacker and Pro Football Hall of Fame member Mike Singletary as its keynote speaker.
