Groupe Touchette and OK Tire Stores Inc. have signed a deal that will see Groupe Touchette supply OK Tire Stores' locations throughout Canada.
"In a move that strengthens Canada’s automotive landscape, two proudly Canadian companies, OK Tire Stores Inc. and Groupe Touchette Inc., have announced a strategic partnership that will enhance their business offerings and customer service, boost distribution capabilities and reinforce their presence and commitment in communities across the country," said Groupe Touchette officials in a recent statement.
"Effective June 9, 2025, consumers across Canada can expect to see immediate benefits from this partnership, including improved product availability, faster delivery times and continued support from trusted, locally based experts. The partnership offers the best of both companies, building on the trusted local service customers have come to expect. It also reaffirms both companies’ commitment to local service by uniting their expertise and resources to deliver even greater value to communities nationwide."
“As two homegrown Canadian companies committed to serving local communities, this partnership reflects our shared dedication to quality, reliability, and innovation,” says Shayne Casey, interim CEO and president of OK Tire Stores, which has more than 300 locations.
While both companies will continue to operate as independent entities under this distribution agreement, "each will leverage the strengths of the other’s expanding network," according to Groupe Touchette officials.
Based in Quebec, Groupe Touchette operates more than 40 distribution centres across multiple provinces. The company acquired American Tire Distributors Inc.'s Canadian subsidiary in 2022.
