Canada Tire Inc.'s newest distribution center, a 60,000-square-foot facility near Quebec City, is up and running.

The warehouse doubles Canada Tire's space in the region.

In addition to Quebec City, it serves customers across Sherbrooke, Victoriaville and Drummondville, Quebec.

The company also has leased additional space within the distribution center.

“We’re excited to expand our footprint in Quebec City," says Gabriel Granatstein, CEO of Canada Tire, which was founded in 1928. "This investment strengthens our local presence and allows us to better serve our customers and partners across the province.

"Having more inventory available locally means faster delivery and greater support for our customers."
