Tire Group International LLC's (TGI) Cosmo brand is teaming with D-Boss Old Garage to restore a 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 TDI.
The vehicle will run on Cosmo Mud Kicker tires in the run-up to the 2028 Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia, "widely regarded as one of the most demanding endurance competitions in the world," according to TGI officials.
“This initiative represents the essence of Cosmo Tires,” says TGI CEO Tony Gonzalez.
“Our focus has always been on engineering products that deliver real performance under extreme conditions. Partnering with the D-Boss Old Garage team that shares that same commitment allows us to bring our philosophy to one of the most demanding events in motorsport."
