Steve Shannon Tire Co. recently opened a new distribution center, completed an acquisition and bought a new warehouse.

On Aug. 10, the Bloomsburg, Pa.-based dealership opened a new wholesale warehouse location in Blackwood, N.J., "to help us better serve the south and central New Jersey market," according to Steve Shannon Tire officials.

Steve Shannon Tire also has acquired Reliable Tire & Towing, a three-store dealership with two locations in Altoona, Pa., and one in Hollidaysburg, Pa.

And last month, the company purchased a 550,000-square-foot distribution center in Bloomsburg that will complement its current 140,000-square-foot distribution center in that town.

The purchase of Reliable Tire & Towing gives Steve Shannon Tire - one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the U.S., according to the 2026 MTD 100 - more than 60 locations.
