Take a Tour of Martin Wheel’s New Ohio Plant

Tour Martin Wheel’s new Ohio plant, where wheels move through fabrication, welding and powder coating before tires and wheels are assembled and prepared for customers.

More on Martin Wheel

Martin Wheel, a Kenda Rubber Industrial Co. Ltd. company, recently opened a new facility in Brimfield Township, Ohio, bringing production, quality, warehousing and shipping operations together under one roof.

The 193,000-square-foot plant includes 180,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space and 13,000 square feet of offices. It replaces Martin Wheel’s former Tallmadge operation and gives the company more room to manufacture wheels, mount tire-and-wheel assemblies and organize inventory.

During the plant’s July 23 grand-opening celebration, Modern Tire Dealer followed the production process from the wheel-fabrication area through welding, powder coating, tire preparation, assembly, storage and shipping.
