Tire Discounters Inc.’s Anna Wood, the dealership's vice president and managing director, has been recognized by the Cincinnati Business Courier's annual Women Who Mean Business program.
The Women Who Mean Business program celebrates women across a broad range of fields whose achievements over the past year are helping transform their organizations, as well as the greater Cincinnati area.
Jamie Ward, president and CEO of Tire Discounters, says this announcement is no surprise given Anna’s natural leadership capabilities and significant contributions to the business.
“Anna has been a driving force for Tire Discounters as we look to expand key, strategic areas of our business under her leadership,” says Ward.
“I’m very proud of her development and achievements as one of our senior leaders. This recognition is spot on and well deserved.”
According to Tire Discounters officials, she has also provided hands-on management of several key initiatives this past year, including the management of Tire Discounter’s auto glass business, where she has championed a growth and re-branding strategy.
