Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has ratified a new master labor contract with the United Steelworkers. The agreement covers 5,900 workers at four Goodyear plants.
Two of the factories - Danville, Va., and Topeka, Kan. - manufacture commercial truck tires.
The Topeka plant also builds OTR tires.
Other facilities covered by the contract include Goodyear's race tire plant in Akron, Ohio, and a consumer tire plant in Fayetteville, N.C.
