Bridgestone Plans Consumer Tire Price Hike

Bridgestone Americas Inc. will increase prices on Bridgestone, Firestone and Fuzion brand passenger and light truck replacement tires sold in the United States and Canada.

The new pricing will take effect on Jan. 1 with adjustments at the article and pattern level. The company said in an e-mailed statement that members of the Bridgestone Consumer Replacement Tire Sales team are contacting customers to provide more detailed information about the changes.

The company did not disclose what the price increase would be.
