Nokian Tyres Inc. has introduced the first products from its standalone Nordman brand, the Nordman North 9 and the Nordman North 9 SUV winter tires.
The Nordman North 9 and the Nordman North 9 SUV come in studded and non-studded versions.
Features include digitally optimized studding; lightning-shaped Snow Grip Boosters in the center of the tread that provide sharp edges to dig into the snow; an aggressive tread pattern with 3D siping; and more.
Both tires are available for purchase at Nokian dealers in the United States and Canada this fall.
Nokian launched the Nordman line in 2004, but is now relaunching it as a brand for “value-driven customers,” according to Nokian officials.
The line comes with a new logo and visual design, including newly designed sidewalls and a fresh slogan, "Nordman – Tires For Your Direction."
It encompasses 32 sizes to fit wheels ranging from 15 inches to 20 inches in diameter.
