Westside Tire's Lisa Walters Wins Award

    Lisa Walters, vice president of Youngstown, Ohio-based Westside Tire & Service, has been honored as Woman of the Year by the Youngstown Business and Professional Women (YBPW) group.

    "Throughout her career, Walters has excelled in her chosen field in the tire and automotive industry," say officials from the organization.

    "As an owner and the vice president of Westside Tire & Service, she has consistently demonstrated innovation, leadership, and an unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on her business.

    "She is an active member of Business Network International (BNI), having served as vice-president. Other affiliations are ATI (Automotive Training Institute), United Way, Women United and AskPatty. a certification for female friendly repair shops." 

    “Lisa has been a driving force in promoting equality and paving the way for women to excel in a traditionally male-dominated field," says Jessica Foster, YBPW president.

    "That, coupled with her commitment to the Youngstown community, make her the perfect recipient for our Woman of the Year honor."
