Midas Takes Home Franchise Honors

Midas has moved up five spots on The Franchise Times Top 400 Largest Brands in Franchise and is the highest-ranked franchise in the list's automotive industry category.

"Midas topped the automotive industry category, which also includes car parts, car
washes, and auto detailing," say Midas officials. "The brand posted $2.3 billion in systemwide sales from 2,026 units, half international, showing a sales increase of 17.3 percent or $335 million. Overall, it was the highest year of growth for Midas in thirty years."

Mavis Tire Express Services Corp. completed its purchase of Midas from TBC Corp., which includes about 1,200 franchised locations in the U.S. and Canada, earlier this year.
