Sun Auto Tire & Service has acquired Tucson, Ariz.-based Klipper Automotive, a single-store automotive repair business.

The move expands Sun Auto Tire & Service's Arizona footprint to nearly 100 locations statewide, operating under a variety of automotive service brands.

Joining the Sun Auto Network, Klipper Automotive "will gain access to additional operational resources, training and technology while continuing to deliver the personalized service customers have come to expect," according to Sun Auto Tire & Service officials.
