Straightaway Tire & Auto is celebrating a milestone of surpassing 100 locations across the United States through its growth-oriented strategy.
The company, which is owned by 02 Investment Partners LP, hit the 100-store mark with the second acquisition of Silverlake Automotive, now one of five brands that Straightaway operates.
Straightaway Tire & Auto says it continues to build its network by partnering with multi-location brands and strengthening them through shared support teams, leadership development and customer-focused expansion in their markets.
"Straightaway was formed in April 2023 through the simultaneous partnership of five local brands operating 43 shops between them, each with decades of standing in its market," say Straightaway officials. "Each has since more than doubled in size, and everyone is still led by the family that built it."
They add that convenient, local tire and auto service will continue to be reinforced as the company seeks to continue acquiring locations in the markets its brands serve, according to officials.
While continuing to grow, Straightaway officials say it will expand its newly-launched brand marketing campaign to boost customer engagement and will invest in "customer retention and lifetime value, with more to be announced in the coming months."
"One hundred shops was never the point," says John Teddy, CEO of Straightaway. "The point is what a hundred shops make possible.
"We spent three years building the brands, the teams and the support behind them, and that was the hard part. What comes next is putting real weight behind names these communities already trust, alongside operators who want to build something that outlasts them.
"That's a much bigger business than the one we have today. It's the one we're building."
Straightaway Tire & Auto is among the largest tire dealerships in the U.S., according to the 2026 MTD 100.
