Fountain Tire Ltd. is celebrating its 70th year in business, marking seven decades of growth and customer service.

"From a single garage in Wainwright, Alberta, the company has grown into one of Canada’s largest tire and automotive service providers, with 170 stores, wholesale operations and a specialized Mine Service division," according to Fountain Tire officials.

"Founded in 1956 by Bill Fountain, Fountain Tire was shaped by his commitment to partnership, innovation and exceptional customer service — values that continue to guide the company today. As Fountain Tire expanded across Canada, it also diversified into commercial and agricultural offerings, wholesale distribution and mine services while staying true to its entrepreneurial roots.
