SEMA Show: Mickey Thompson Goes Full Throttle
Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels has returned to the SEMA Show with new products, expanded fitments and a line-up of builds.
"Mickey Thompson will bring its authentic street, strip and off-road attitude to two locations at the Las Vegas Convention Center: Central Hall Booth #22453 in the Race/Performance section and Silver Lot Booth #80001, according to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. officials. (Goodyear owns the Mickey Thompson brand.)
"From classic American muscle and vintage pickups to modern off-road machines, every vehicle in the Mickey Thompson display has a purpose: to show what happens when enthusiasts build without compromise.
"At the 2026 SEMA show, Mickey Thompson will spotlight a limited-edition Street Comp GHT Signature Series street performance tire; expanded Baja Boss A/T and Baja Boss M/T sizes, including new fitments ranging from narrow 'pizza-cutter' sizes to 40-inch hybrid all-terrain tires; and new 15-inch and 16-inch sizes for MT Classic Forged wheels."
“SEMA is built for people who believe a vehicle should be more than transportation," says Matt Arko, general manager, marketing and product, Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels. “It's an opportunity to showcase your individuality and stand out from the crowd. That's always been the Mickey Thompson mindset. Whether someone is chasing a quicker pass, building a trail rig or reimagining a classic truck, we want to give them the tires and wheels to build it their way. This year, we’re bringing that full street, strip and off-road spirit to Las Vegas.”
Making its debut at this week's SEMA Show is the Mickey Thompson Street Comp GHT Signature Series, which "adds a unique, premium sidewall with a deeper, richer black finish and premium, foil-like deacals highlighting the Mickey Thompson logo, Street Comp GH name and Mickey Thompson's signature," say Goodyear officials, who add that the GHT Signature Series will be offered in 275/40R20 and 315/35R20 sizes, designed for select Chevrolet Camaro, Dodge Challenger and Charger, BMW M models, Porsche Panamera and other high-performance vehicles.
Mickey Thompson also has expanded the size range of its Baja Boss A/T and M/T tires.
"There are now 29 new SKU offerings across a wide range of enthusiast applications, from classic off-road fitments and tall, narrow pizza-cutter sizes, to aggressive 37-, 38- and 40-inch tires for serious trail rigs, to large-rim diameter fitments and hard metric sizes for trail-ready SUVs.
"Together, the new sizes give enthusiasts more options to find a Mickey Thompson that fits the way they build, drive and use their vehicles, whether that’s an old-school crawler, trail rig, modern 4x4 or head-turning show truck."
These include:
Rock Crawlers, "iconic 15-inch and 16-inch fitments for traditional Jeeps and off-road builds;"
Pizza Cutters, "all, narrow fitments that deliver additional ground clearance in a reduced load, lighter weight package;
Rockstars, which are "aggressive 37-, 38- and 40-inch fitments for serious trail rigs and custom builds;"
Show-Stoppers, which are "20- and 24-inch fitments that bring Baja Boss capability and attitude to premium truck builds," and;
Trail-Ready, which are "additional hard metric fitments that broaden Baja Boss A/T availability for modern SUVs and off-road vehicles."
More news for the 2026 SEMA Show includes an expansion of the Mickey Thompson MT Classic Forged wheel lineup, with new 15- and 16-inch diameter wheels "created for enthusiasts building vehicles that demand an unmistakably aggressive stance while maintaining an era correct fitment.
"The new 15x14, 16x14 and 16x16 offerings combine the iconic styling and forged construction of the MT Classic Forged with extreme widths and multiple bolt-pattern options for classic trucks, off-road builds and custom applications."
In addition, inside Mickey Thompson's Central Hall Booth (#22453), attendees will finda 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1, "a model made famous by Mr. Thompson’s accomplishments, from GAP Industries" equipped with Street Comp GHT tires up front with ET Street R tires at the rear, "a combination built to put its power to the pavement. Alongside it, a 2026 Dodge Charger from Diesel Brothers will bring modern muscle to the booth on limited-edition Street Comp GHT Signature Series tires."
Outside in Mickey Thompson's Silver Lot Booth (#80001), the focus shifts toward trucks, heritage and off-road capability. Visitors will find:
- A 2020 Mickey Thompson Gladiator Overland Build "ready to go big on 40x13.50 Baja Boss A/T tires;"
- A 1979 Toyota Pickup 4WD "that pairs old-school trail character with LT255/90R16 Baja Boss® A/T tires, one of Mickey Thompson’s new narrow pizza-cutter fitments, wrapped around a 16x8 Canyon wheel;"
- A 1978 Ford F-150 "with unmistakable stance, equipped with 33x15.50R15 LT tires and 15x14 MT Classic Forged wheels," and;
- A 2022 Ford Bronco "that goes bold with Baja Belted II tires and wide 17x14 MT Classic Forged wheels."
On top of that, Mickey Thompson’s footprint will extend well beyond its two booths, "with tires and wheels appearing on standout builds throughout the SEMA campus. Highlights across the SEMA Show include a 2026 Toyota Tacoma on 40-inch Baja Boss A/T tires, a Lexus GX550 40-inch Baja Boss M/T tires, a 2025 Toyota GR Supra equipped for the strip and a 1969 Ford F-100 on Street Comp tires. Together, the vehicles reflect the breadth of Mickey Thompson and the creativity of the builders who choose it.
"Additional Mickey Thompson-equipped projects can be found with Rockstar Performance Garage, Yukon Gear & Axle, Showa, Liberty Forged, Anderson Composites, Cerakote, TORA Off Road Allegiance, Borla, Evercoat and Tremec, along with a Battle of the Builders Young Guns entry and featured vehicles throughout the show.
