A new Mickey Thompson "ultra ultra high performance" tire and the new Mickey Thompson Baja Belted II have been introduced.

The Street Comp GHT, a "next-generation ultra ultra high performance summer tire built for high-horsepower American muscle," say Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. officials. "Designed for drivers who demand precision, grip, and control, the GHT marks a bold reinvestment in Mickey Thompson's street and performance tire segment and a clear signal of where the brand is headed."

"The Street Comp GHT is more than a new product," says John McDonough, senior product manager, race and street products, Mickey Thompson. "It's a demonstration of our latest technology and a glimpse into the future of Mickey Thompson. We're investing in the street performance category with purpose and the GHT is engineered to deliver the kind of driving experience enthusiasts expect from our brand."

"Born from decades of racing heritage, the Street Comp GHT is Mickey Thompson's most advanced street tire yet," say Goodyear officials. "Built for everything from vintage street legends to modern V8 monsters, it features an all-new tread compound and reinforced construction that keeps your vehicle glued to the pavement."

Other features include an aggressive tread design "that channels water away while enhancing dry traction and reducing road noise;" lightweight construction and aerodynamic profile for improved steering response and reduced drag; advanced resin and silica-blended compound for superior wet performance and cornering control; and more.

The tires initial size line-up" will be modest, targeting key fitments and applications, and will be available through authorized Mickey Thompson retailers beginning spring 2026."

The new Baja Belted II "blends vintage attitude with modern engineering. Available in sizes for 15-inch, 16-inch, 17-inch, 20-inch, 26-inch and 30-inch wheels, it's designed to fit everything from classic lifted 4x4s to modern custom builds."

Features include steel-belted radial construction in select sizes for enhanced ride quality and reduced flat-spotting; a precision-tuned tread pattern for a smoother ride, longer wear and reduced road noise; deep, variable-depth Sidebiter elements for superior off-road traction and sidewall protection; and more.

The Baja Belted II will be available for purchase through authorized Mickey Thompson retailers beginning in spring 2026.
