Bridgestone, TEU Promote Literacy

Bridgestone Americas Inc. and Tight End University (TEU) recently donated $50,000 to support literacy initiatives.

The groups also held a TEU Summit event in Nashville, Tenn., in which students from four schools and organizations in the area attended an interactive program that emphasizes the importance of reading.

"Bridgestone and TEU’s focus on literacy demonstrates their commitment to promoting and supporting education for youth in the community," note Bridgestone officials.

Marko Ibrahim, president, Bridgestone Retail Operations, says that Bridgestone is "thrilled to join forces once again with our friends at Tight End University to bring greater awareness to the power of literacy and help bridge learning gaps for youth here in Nashville and beyond.”
