Continental AG says it has achieved its full-year targets both at the corporate level and within its tire division.

Continental officials say that based on preliminary figures, the company's total, global sales will total $23.3 billion for full-year 2025.

Continental's Tires Group is expected to achieve sales of $16.3 billion for the year.

In addition, Continental expects to record tire sales of around $4.2 billion for the fourth quarter of 2025 and total company-wide revenue of nearly $6 billion for 4Q 2025.

"By contrast, ContiTech's earnings in the fourth quarter fell short of our expectations, particularly due to the persistently weak market," says Roland Welzbacher, Continental's chief financial officer.

Continental aims to sell ContiTech this year as the company transitions to becoming a tires-only enterprise.

"Today's highly dynamic markets confirm that our focused, decisive approach is the right course of action," adds Welzbacher.

Continental expects its spin-off of ContiTech's Original Equipment Solutions business to occur in early-2026.

The Hanover, Germany-based firm will announce its final, full-year 2025 results on March 19.
