Atturo Returns as Cubs' Stolen Base Sponsor
Atturo Tire Corp. will return for a third consecutive season as the official stolen base sponsor of the Chicago Cubs Radio Network for the 2026 season.
Throughout the season, every Cubs’ stolen base will trigger the “Cubs Race Around the Bases,” sponsored by Atturo Tires. Listeners will hear Baseball Hall of Fame broadcaster Pat Hughes, former all-star Ron Coomer and Zach Zaidman call the action live, reinforcing Atturo’s connection to speed, performance and competitive edge.
“As a Chicago-based company, supporting Cubs baseball on the radio is personal for us,” says Michael Mathis, president of Atturo. “Pat and Ron bring the game to life for fans, and we’re proud to be part of those high-energy moments when the Cubs take the extra base. It reflects exactly what our brand stands for — performance that moves you forward. Atturo continues to invest in raising the brand profile to support our local and regional dealers.”
The broadcasts air on Chicago’s premier sports station and the Chicago Cubs’ flagship station, 104.3 The Score, an FM simulcast of 670 The Score (WSCR-AM), delivering comprehensive game coverage to fans across the Chicago market.
Additionally, the Cubs Radio affiliate network extends across the upper Midwest, reaching listeners on more than 30 affiliate stations throughout Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota and South Dakota, ensuring every Atturo mention resonates across a six-state territory.
The partnership underscores Atturo’s continued investment in Chicago sports and its commitment to staying connected with fans in the city and across the Midwest. The Cubs radio placement is a complement to Atturo’s Chicago Blackhawks partnership, giving Atturo a year-round presence in the Chicago market, according to Atturo officials.
