Pirelli Makes Tire for Porsche 911 Turbo S

The new Pirelli P Zero R ultra-high performance tire has been developed for the Porsche 911 Turbo S.

The tire, which is "designed for everyday driving in sports cars, features a compound derived directly from Pirelli’s experience in motorsports," according to Pirelli & Cie SpA officials.

Features and benefits of the new Pirelli P Zero R include "consistent traction across different surfaces and a wide range of weather conditions, with particular attention to safety and control in wet conditions.

"The tread pattern has been engineered to minimize noise for improved comfort, while optimized rolling resistance contributes to the vehicle’s overall efficiency."
