BendPak Offers Larger Four-Post Lift

BendPak Inc. says its new HD-9EWT four-post lift is wider, taller and lifts higher than typical four-post lifts, and as a result can accommodate vehicles with larger tires, wider fenders and extended side mirrors.

The lift is designed to be a versatile option for use with wide-body pickups, cars, SUVs and off-road vehicles.

“The expanded dimensions of the new HD-9EWT four-post lift offer greater peace of mind when maneuvering larger vehicles into place,” says Jeff Kritzer, BendPak president and CEO. “This new design is all about operator safety and comfort. The lift’s extra width prevents damage to doors and mirrors, while its greater rise makes room for taller vehicles and taller techs, too.”

With multiple locking positions, the HD-9EWT allows technicians to lock the lift at a variety of working heights, providing a comfortable working setup. Four locks engage automatically as the lift goes up, and a backup locking system provides extra peace of mind. Technicians can also quickly stop, start and reverse the lift thanks to its electric-hydraulic power system and controls that are within easy reach.

The lift offers an 87-inch maximum lifting height, as well as longer approach ramps and low-profile runways for easy loading of low-riding vehicles.

The HD-9EWT features heavy-duty dual-hub cable sheaves — an upgrade BendPak says "significantly extends the life of axles, cables and sheaves under heavy load." Four  stainless steel lifting cables are contained inside the column to reduce clutter. The lift also includes oversized self-lubricating cable rollers, a push-button pneumatic safety release and customizable power unit location. All of the cables, airlines, safety latches and sheaves are internal, giving the four-post lift a sleek appearance.

For bays or locations without power, BendPak's GoAir Mini air compressor can be mounted onto the lift to manage its locks.

The BendPak HD-9EWT has been third-party tested and ALI Certified.
