Hunter Engineering Co. says new cloud-based software for its Quick Check Drive and Quick Check Edge inspection systems will streamline processes and allow for new capabilities.

The Inspection Live software now allows for two service lands to be run from a single console, which will help with efficiency and also reduce the upfront costs and space needed for equipment.

Customers using the inspection systems can also now receive over-the-air updates as soon as they're available, with weekly spec updates, monthly software updates and quarterly updates on license plate registrations.

Plus, a new software subscription model replaces manual updates for body damage images and onsite rewewals for both specs and software. Customers can choose their own regular renewal payment schedule.

Icons on the Flightboard video monitor have been updated and include tire tread renders.

“Hunter’s Quick Check Drive has been finding additional revenue in the service lane for years, and now Inspection Live speeds up the development cycle to get customers new features faster and easier than ever,” says Mike Brecht, Hunter Product for Inspection. “This subscription-based model unlocks over-the-air updates and a more powerful PC can now run two lanes at once.”
