Giti Tire (U.S.A.) Ltd. is introducing new products and reaffirming its commitment to American manufacturing and its United States tire dealer network.

The company introduced two new tires - the GT Radial Adventuro ATZ, an all-terrain tire, and the GT Radial Adventuro RT, a rugged-terrain product - this week during an event at its plant in Richburg, S.C.

The GT Radial Adventuro ATZ has been "engineered for versatility, delivering balanced on-road comfort and off-road capability," according to Giti officials. Having earned 3-Peak Mountain Snowflake (3PMS) certification, the tire is available in 39 sizes, fits wheels ranging from 15 inches to 22 inches in diameter and is backed by a 60,000-mile limited warranty for P-metric sizes and a 55,000-mile warranty for LT-metric sizes.

Features include staggered shoulder blocks for enhanced traction in challenging road surfaces; interconnected center tread blocks with multi microgrooves for increased grip in wet conditions, as well as improved on-road stability; reinforced two-sided sidewall construction, "combining aggressive styling with additional sidewall protection and biting edges for rough terrain;" and others.

The GT Radial Adventuro RT has been built "for more aggressive performance, offering enhanced traction, durability and off-road confidence," according to Giti officials. It's available in 30 sizes, fitting rims ranging from 16 inches through 22 inches, and comes with a 50,000-mile limited warranty for P-metric sizes and a 45,000-mile warranty for LT sizes.

Features include" two unique sidewall designs to fit the consumer and vehicle personality, while providing additional performance in deep soil and on loose or rough terrain;" wide-groove staggered shoulder lugs for enhanced off-road traction and bite with increased mud and dirt evacuation; shoulder lug stone ejectors, reducing potential belt damage by minimizing stone and gravel retention; and interconnected center lug patterns for improved driver feel and responsiveness.

In addition, Giti officials announced plans to introduce the MaxWinterPro purpose-built winter tire this fall, "further expanding the GT Radial product portfolio to meet seasonal driving needs across North America."

Features of the MaxWinterPro include an asymmetric tread design that allows normal rotation for increased treadwear and reduced road noise "compared to industry standard directional patterns;" 3PMS certification; optimized tread channels and multi-wave sipes that use "engineered grooves to distribute rain and slush away;" and an innovative, next-generation compound to enhance winter performnce and increase tread life.

"All three tires will be manufactured at the company’s Richburg facility, reinforcing the company’s commitment to producing high-quality tires for American drivers on U.S. soil," say Giti officials.

As part of its renewed strategy, Giti also "will place a strong emphasis on its Made in America positioning. All GT Radial tires manufactured in Richburg, S.C., are branded with 'Made in USA' on the sidewall, as well as 'Made in USA' highlighted on each tire’s label."

The company also will deploy an integrated marketing campaign to promote its "Made in America positioning" that will include advertising, social media compaigns, dealer collateral and point-of-sale materials.

"This initiative is designed to highlight the company’s investment in U.S. manufacturing, R&D and workforce, while helping dealers tell a stronger local-production story at retail."

During this week's event, Giti officials "emphasized the value of the GT Radial warranty, a comprehensive customer confidence program designed to help independent dealers close more sales and build long-term loyalty."

Depending on product eligibility and registration, benefits include a 30-day test drive, limited mileage warranty on eligible products, a five-year limited warranty covering workmanship and materials, road hazard protection on qualified tires and 24/7 roadside assistance, including towing benefits.

"For dealers, the warranty program provides a compelling way to differentiate GT Radial at the counter by pairing strong products with real consumer peace of mind - helping overcome hesitation, improve conversion and strengthen repeat business."

In addition, Giti staged a "Drift Along" event in Richburg, providing dealers, media and other participants "with first-hand experience of GT Radial’s performance capabilities, including professional drifting demonstrations and off-road ride experiences showcasing the brand’s latest light truck tire technology. GT Radial Champiro SX2 RS tires, built in Richburg, are two-time Formula DRIFT Cup Champions (n) 2023 and 2025.

"The event also featured guided tours of the Richburg manufacturing plant and on-site R&D center, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the R&D and production processes that support GT Radial products.

"With its R&D center and advanced manufacturing plant located side-by-side in Richburg, Giti Tire USA offers dealers and consumers a unique advantage: close collaboration between R&D and production teams to rapidly develop, refine and build tires specifically for U.S. roads, driving conditions and customer expectations."

“The introduction of the GT Radial Adventuro ATZ and RT lines represents the ongoing development to ensure that GT Radial provides a full line of premium products to our dealers from the U.S. manufacturing plant in Richburg, S.C.," says David Poling, vice president R&D and technical, Giti Tire R&D center.

“Our R&D team is directly connected to the factory floor, which means we can continuously refine our tires based on the market requirements to better serve the U.S. consumer expectations. That level of integration leads to the right products at the right time.”

"Independent tire dealers are incredibly important to the success of GT Radial in the United States,” says Michael Markoff, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Giti. “They are trusted advisors in their communities and they help connect customers with products that truly fit their needs. Our job is to support those dealers with strong products, reliable U.S.-based supply and compelling Made in the USA messaging.

"We are sharpening our focus on delivering products that meet the real-world demands of American drivers, while giving dealers the tools and confidence they need to grow with the brand.”
