Ostrander Leaves Nokian, Pompei to Take Over

Nokian Tyres Inc. recently announced that Christopher Ostrander, senior vice president, passenger car tires, North America, has decided to leave the company.

Nokian Tyres Inc. recently announced that Christopher Ostrander, senior vice president, passenger car tires, North America, and a member of the Nokian Tyres Management Team has decided to leave the company.

Paolo Pompei, president and CEO of Nokian Tyres, "will assume the responsibilities on an interim basis until a successor is appointed," according to officials.

The leadership change will be effective on July 31, 2026. 

“I would like to thank Christopher for his contributions in leading our North American business and for laying a solid foundation for the future development of our operations," said Pompei. "We wish him all the best in his future endeavors."

Ostrander became the senior vice president of North America in September of 2025, and he was previously a member of the Nokian board of directors since 2021. Ostrander also served as president of the Americas for Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.
