Wes Tatum has joined Independent Tire Dealers Group LLC (ITDG) as its eastern region sales director.
"In this role, Tatum will lead ITDG’s sales efforts throughout the eastern region, focusing on strengthening relationships with existing shareholders, expanding membership, increasing engagement with ITDG programs and identifying new opportunities to improve the competitiveness and profitability of independent tire dealers," according to ITDG officials.
“ITDG’s success is measured by the value we deliver to our shareholders,” says Jason Rook, CEO of Independent Tire Dealers Group. “Adding Wes to our team is an investment in that mission. We are committed to building an organization that delivers greater purchasing power, stronger vendor partnerships and more opportunities for our members to compete and grow.
"Wes will play an important role in advancing those objectives throughout the eastern region. His experience as the owner and operator of a multi-store tire dealership, a former ITDG shareholder and development facilitator in a well-known 20Group provide him with a wealth of knowledge that will benefit ITDG members.”
ITDG will continue strengthening its collective buying position, expanding the resources available to its shareholders and advocating for independent dealers through strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors, say officials.
Tatum’s appointment will build on ITDG's growth strategy by "helping shareholders maximize the value of their ITDG membership while identifying opportunities to welcome additional independent tire dealers into the organization."
“We believe the future of ITDG is built on the strength of our shareholders, the quality of our partnerships and our ability to deliver measurable value,” says Rook. “Wes’s addition reinforces our commitment to those priorities, and we look forward to the impact he will create for our members and our organization.”
