Trimax Tire is showcasing its new Snow Pioneer light truck winter tire and a light truck tire prototype at its SEMA Show booth.

Both products are in Trimax's Haida line.

The Snow Pioneer contains zig-zag longitudinal grooves, among other features. "This delivers excellent snow handling performance and wet drainage," say Trimax officials. "It has an optimized stud layout to help enhance grip on ice and snow, which effectively reduces noise and improves ride comfort."

The tire will be available to order in March 2027 in 31 light truck sizes fitting wheels ranging from 16 inches to 22 inches in diameter.  

The HD858, a light truck tire prototype, has been designed with a varied shoulder pitch to improve handling strength and reduce running noise.The tire delivers "excellent traction and braking performance with effective water and mud disbursement and will focus on newer larger light truck diameter sizes" ranging from 17 inches to 21 inches in diameter. 

In addition, Trimax has announced that production of Chinhoo brand tires, which the company introduced at last year's SEMA Show, has increased to 193 SKUs in mass production, 75 SKUs in pilot production and 50 SKUs in trial production. New pilot production includes popular SUV, high performance, highway-terrain, all-terrain, rugged-terrain and mud-terrain sizes.

Trimax officials say Chinhoo is positioned "as a quality value tire, aimed at retailers seeking dependable, competitvely priced options in a volatile tariff and sea freight environment."

Trimax's booth (#46187) is in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The 2026 SEMA Show runs through Nov. 6.
