Tire Group International LLC's (TGI Cosmo brand has earned its first original equipment fitment.

"Cosmo Mud Kicker tires are now available as optional original equipment on JMC pickups in Peru, bringing the partnership’s off-road attitude straight to the showroom," say TGI officials. "Through JMC’s Pack Pro, customers can choose Vigus and Avenue models equipped with Mud Kicker tires directly from participating dealerships."

The Cosmo Mud Kicker contains Cosmo Quiet Kat Technology and is designed for pickup truck, 4x4 and SUV applications.

"The Mud Kicker also features two granted U.S. design patents  - one for its Shoulder Claw and one for its Bead Claw - setting it apart with distinctive innovation in the mud-tire market. Large tread blocks and an aggressive shoulder design deliver traction on challenging terrain."

Cosmo Tires and JMC recently completed their second Caminos del Inca rally together with a clean sweep, finishing first, second, and third in the CAM pickup category at one of South America’s most historic and demanding mountain road rallies.

At the rally, JMC pickups equipped with Cosmo tires claimed every step of the CAM category podium: Fabiola Medina took first, Diego Navea finished second and Karem Quispe secured third.

"Two of the three podium teams were piloted by women - Medina and Quispe - with Medina taking the category’s top honor. Their achievements added another reason to celebrate a sweep that connected the partnership’s showroom presence with performance in competition."
