Innovative Products of America Inc. (IPA) gives commercial tire dealers an option to offer more than "just tires," and many of them are taking advantage of it.
IPA's Super Mutt is a “turn-key” solution for advanced trailer testing.
"The Michelin Truck Care Network utilizes the latest and most technologically advanced diagnostic tools available,” says Bruce Stockton, program director of Michelin Truck Care for Michelin North America Inc. “The Super Mutt is one of the tools that can perform for customers.”
According to IPA, Super Mutt performs 96 critical points of inspection including:
* diagnostic troubleshooting,
* air brake leak-down testing,
* ABS code access and remote activation of electrical and air brake circuits,
* short circuit pulsing, and
* ground integrity testing.
It can be used in the shop or transported by service truck to a depot for field inspection.
