Cooper Donates 200,000 Masks to Health Care Workers

The Cooper Tire Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Cooper Tire & Rubber Co., has donated 200,000 surgical face masks to help medical personnel in the fight against COVID-19.

The masks are being donated to not-for-profit hospitals and health care organizations in New York City, according to Cooper officisls.

Surgical masks are also being distributed to health care organizations in the local communities where Cooper has operations within the Americas, including: Clarksdale, Miss.; Findlay, Ohio; Texarkana, Ark.; Tupelo, Miss.; and El Salto, Mexico.

Cooper's plant in El Salto resumed production on April 13. The tiremaker's plants in the United States remain off-line.
