Dave Tompkins has returned to the Alliance Tire USA Ltd. fold after a two-year absence. Alliance Tire Co., based in Israel, has hired Tompkins as general manager of its North American operation.
"We've started down the path toward tremendous growth opportunities here, and we are confident that Dave will play an invaluable role in continuing that growth," says Simon Soesan, vice president of sales and marketing for Alliance.
Tompkins' return is part of a restructuring that includes the departure of Leslie Gurland. "She has been a cornerstone of our efforts in North America," says Soesan. Also, the parent company's $75 million expansion of its agricultural and industrial tire manufacturing facility is close to completion.
