The Florida Independent Tire Dealers and Retreaders Association (FITDRA) will hold its annual convention May 18-20 at the Hilton in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
The event includes seminars on improving profitability through technology, hiring quality employees and a presentation by Tire Association of North America Director of Government Relations Becky MacDicken on legislative issues involving the tire industry.
Jim Vogel, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.'s vice president of sales and marketing, North American Tire, will deliver an address, as will Leroy Selmon, National Football League hall-of-famer and former defensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
