Marangoni and Vipal Agree to Partner in Some Capacity

Marangoni SpA and Borrachas Vipal SA are combining forces. The global retreading companies announced a partnership agreement that "will develop in 2019."

And the early focus of the partnership will be activities in North and South America.

In a press release, the companies said the aggrement is aimed at increasing the synergies and productivity, and strengthening the industrial and commercial organization of both groups.

"We are pleased to finally be able to announce this agreement, which is the first result of the new strategic lines of development we recently adopted," says Vittorio Marangoni, chairman of the Marangoni Group.

Marangoni SpA, through the Marangoni Group, is a global leader in the green tire retreading industry. It not only designs and builds machinery for industrial companies in the sector, but also produces industrial tires and compounds for technical products. It brings its own industrial and commercial facilities in Germany, Turkey, the UK, North America, China, Brazil, South America, Russia and South Africa into the partnership.

Marangoni SpA and the Marangoni Group, based in Rovereto, Italy, continue to invest in innovation and environmental sustainability.

Borrachas Vipal SA is also a global retreading brand, with leadership status in Latin America when it comes to retreading tires for transport. The group, which was founded in 1973 in Nova Prata, near Porto Alegre, Brazil, has three plants in Brazil as well as a research and technology center. Its products are shipped to 90 countries. Vipal has a production capacity of 18,000 tons per month.

Vipal also takes its ethical and environmental responsibilities seriously.
