Vredestein Consumer Tire Prices Will Rise on Jan. 1

Nov. 16, 2018

Apollo Tyres Ltd. will increase prices on its Vredestein consumer tires in North America beginning Jan. 1, 2019.

Prices will rise in the range of 6%. Apollo says the increases are "in line with the rising raw material and logistic costs."

Vredestein consumer tires are produced in Europe from the company’s manufacturing facilities in The Netherlands and the recently inaugurated plant in Hungary.

"The company continues to invest to build the Vredestein brand in North America by providing best-in-class products from its global manufacturing facilities," added Apollo.

Pirelli Tire North America Inc., Continental Tire the Americas LLC and Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp. also will raise prices on passenger and light truck tires on the first of the year. Sentury Tire USA Inc. and Michelin North America Inc. will raise consumer tire prices in December.
