Dealer Tire, fresh from exhibiting at the National Automobile Dealers Association convention, continues to expand.
The unique nationwide business is geared exclusively to automobile dealerships. Dealer Tire bills itself as the authorized supplier of replacement tires, wheels and accessories for "the leading German and Japanese automobile manufacturers."
It offers Michelin, Goodyear, Dunlop, Continental, Pirelli, Yokohama, Bridgestone, Firestone, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal and General brand tires to more than 4,000 auto dealerships.
Dealer Tire has 19 distribution centers located throughout the United States. That number is growing, according to the company.
The new venture, created by the owners of Mueller Tire & Brake, a 16-store dealership based in Cleveland, Ohio, is backed by a business-to-business Web site, www.dealertire.com.
