Continental Tire the Americas LLC is recalling some Conti Hybrid HS3 tires in size 11R22.5 load range G because the cords may be visible through the innerliner.

Continental says tires with visible cords through the innerliner may have a sudden loss of air, increasing the risk of a crash.

The affected tires were produced between March 4, 2018, and March 24, 2018.

Continental Tire will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Continental customer service at 1-888-799-2168.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) campaign number for this recall is 18T006000.

Owners may also contact the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236 (TTY 1-800-424-9153), or go to www.safercar.gov.
