Continental Recalls 655 Conti Hybrid HS3 Tires

Continental Tire the Americas LLC is recalling some Conti Hybrid HS3 tires in size 11R22.5 load range G because the cords may be visible through the innerliner.

Continental says tires with visible cords through the innerliner may have a sudden loss of air, increasing the risk of a crash.

The recall affects 655 tires.  The tire identification numbers are (TIN) A33TKWUX and DOT date codes of 0918 through 1118.

The affected tires were produced between March 4, 2018, and March 24, 2018.

Continental Tire will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule. Owners may contact Continental customer service at 1-888-799-2168.
