Tire industry veteran Bob Eck is the new vice president of sales for the Donald B. Rice Tire Co. Inc., which goes to market as Rice Tire.
Eck joins Rice Tire from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., where he worked from 1982 to 2017. He held various positions of increasing responsibility at Goodyear, most recently as a region manager of commercial systems.
In his new role at Rice Tire, Eck will implement new sales and marketing strategies, identify new markets and drive success in existing marketing.

Rice Tire celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2016 and completed a six-bay expansion to its flagship store in Frederick in 2017.
A third-generation, family-owned independent tire dealership, Rice Tire serves retail, commercial, and wholesale customers through ten locations, two tire warehouses, and a retreading plant. The company serves customers in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.
