Natural rubber shortage: What, me worry?

With fill rates pretty decent for the first time this year, talk about a natural rubber shortage seems unimportant.

However, you can bet tire companies are concerned. As demand picks up globally down the road, tire dealers, too, might start feeling the effects.

Natural rubber is not produced in the United States. But the U.S. and rubber-producing countires such as India are aggressively looking for solutions to the problem.
