New TPMS sensor services 70% of vehicles

June 22, 2011

ORO-TEK says its team of engineers achieved the most significant technological breakthrough in TPMS sensor coverage to date. Multi Vehicle Protocol (MVP) means that tire dealers can service 70% of all vehicles with just one SKU. ORO-TEK has packaged its MVP technology into its new sensor and named it iORO.

iORO installs and functions the same as the OE sensors it replaces and works with tools that tire shops already own so there are no new tools to buy, says the company. iORO, and all ORO-TEK TPMS sensors, feature a 35° adjustable stem to fit more vehicles, a two-piece design to allow replacement of valve stem independent of sensor, and choice of black or polished alloy stem.

ORO-TEK offers a complete line of TPMS sensors that provide tire dealers and distributors the ability to service 97% of all vehicles. The ORO-TEK Web site, www.orotekusa.com, provides a comprehensive application guide to quickly and easily find the right sensor and relearn procedure for sensor to ECU to pairing.
