Long-time farm front tractor and implement tire manufacturer Specialty Tires of America (STA) is now producing rear R1 tractor tires.
The size 18.4x38 bias tires are being made at STA's Unicoi, Tenn., plant, says Clark Ent, STA spokesman.
STA plans to add sizes 15.5x38 and 16.9x38 within the next four months.
The tires are designed to fit tractors made by John Deere, International and other manufacturers.
STA's Unicoi facility manufacturers about 1,600 units a day, according to Modern Tire Dealer statistics.
