Three Hankook medium truck tires have been certified by the Environmental Protection Agency's SmartWay Program, meeting the program's goal of cutting rolling resistance by 3%.
Recently certified tires include Hankook's newly launched AL07+ steer tire, plus the company's Z35a and TL01 truck tires.
"Hankook invests approximately 5% of revenue in technological innovation," says Brian Sheehey, Hankook Tire America Corp.'s commercial tire director. "We are particularly focused on improving fuel efficiencies and lowering the rolling resistance of current and future products."
