TRIB sets 'do or die' meeting

Sept. 11, 2003

The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) is calling its Sept. 15 discussion with the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) a "do or die" meeting.

TRIB Managing Director Harvey Brodsky is asking California retreaders to voice their concerns about the CIWMB's controversial waste tire manifest rule immediately by sending him letters so he "can have as much ammunition as possible" when he sits down with CIWMB representatives on Monday.

Letters can be e-mailed to Brodsky at [email protected] (preferred method) or sent via regular mail to TRIB; 900 Weldon Grove; Pacific Grove, CA 93950.

"We have already received letters or copies of letters from a few of our California retreader members, but we'd really like more," says Brodsky.

"If you are interested in having your voice heard, now is the time to do it."
