Titan International Inc. has temporarily halted giant OTR tire production at its Bryan, Ohio, plant.
Titan stopped OTR tire production after a "pressure issue" with one of the factory's curing presses. "A build up and release of pressure from (a) press resulted in building structure damage," say Titan officials. "Fortunately, there were no serious injuries."
Production of 63-inch tires will be down for 10 to 14 days while repairs are made.
