Big O Tires Inc. has hired Jim Wheat to be one of its divisional vice presidents.
Wheat is the former CEO and President of Penske Auto Centers.
He officially joined Big O last week and will oversee the company's Northern and Southern California divisions, plus its Las Vegas, Nev., Utah, Oregon and Washington territories.
Big O is North America's fourth largest tire distribution group with more than 500 members, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
