Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. recently promoted Kerry Barnett to manager of general accounting for its Tire Group.
In her new position, Barnett will be responsible for reviewing and coordinating closing activities, audits, forecasting, customer profitability review and other project assignments.
Barnett joined Cooper Tire in January 2001 as an accounting analyst, and was named senior accouting analyst in May 2002. She joined Cooper's credit department in November 2002 as credit manager.
Barnett is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Ohio Society of CPA's. She earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University and a master's degree from the University of Southern California.
