Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has named Joseph M. Gingo executive vice president, quality systems and chief technical officer.
Gingo has served as Goodyear's senior vice president for technology and global products planning since 1999.
In his new position, he will lead three strategic initiatives for the company: Six Sigma, Product Innovation and Development, and Quality Leadership.
He also retains responsibility for Goodyear's global race tire program.
