Jack Williams Tire Co. Inc., one of the 100 largest independent tire dealers in the United States, recently held its second annual Wholesale Trade Show.

The show, held in Scranton, Pa., was attended by wholesale customers, American Car Care Center dealers and managers from the tire company’s 20 retail stores. Jack Williams Tire gave out more than $35,000 in cash and prizes during the event.

Former National Football League running back Rocky Blier gave the keynote address. "If you want to succeed in life you have to try. If you say you can’t, you won’t," he told the attendees.

The weekend event also included an informative panel discussion, and well-attended seminars relating to the tire and automotive industry. Industry experts shared information on training, the high performance tire market, and how to manage service business efficiently.

Hank Parker, "master bass fisherman" and host of "Outdoor Magazine," spoke at the closing luncheon and helped CEO and President Bill Williams hand out the thousands of dollars in prizes.

Jack Williams Tire sells Goodyear, Kelly, Michelin, Dunlop and Uniroyal tires, among others.
